Just for you baby sister

Someone (ahem) has been texting me all
morning, bugging me to put up Randa's cheer pictures.
OK OK!!
Here's my "Pootie" on her first football
game ever, being a cheerleader. ( I still say GAG!)
But I have to admit, she was pretty cute,
and she did a good job.
sigh
.

Randa wasn't the only one performing Friday night....
Taylor is playing in the pep band. Nothing like having your son, surrounded
with a bunch of girls. Hmmm...
not a good sign.
But like the little stud that he is,
he played his heart out, and smiled away.

Some of our friends.... Lisa (rock on mama!) and sweet Amy.
Gotta love the sax players!

... and ANYTIME I can take a photo of Baylee - it's MY lucky day!
xoxo love you B!

So, I came home at half time, Brin and Stock
had enough of football at that point,
and I drove in and saw this ...

I thought to myself,
"NOT a bad view at all from my backyard!"

I think I'm going to like having this as my backyard. I really enjoy my view.

LOVE being able to check out my horses.

Maybe we will survive Wyoming??

GO CATS!!
(first game tonight. more pictures to come later, after I gag!)

Ok, so I still haven't REALLY posted on our summer...
I will, I will. I just need to get this house finished! Ugh!

So, a couple more phone photos so that it doesn't look like I've fallen off the face of the earth again!

first day of school, (Bryan's phone, I had the real
camera, I just need to upload!? Grr!)

This was taken about a mile
from our house. Keesa & Trevor came up

with Trevor's family this first part of August.
All the boys, (and Trev's sister!) went

fishing by our house. Taylor and
Trev were the only one's who caught anything.

Nice fish, huh?
Yeeehaw Taylor!!

Ok, behind our house is a HUGE
mountain of dirt, courtesy of the basement.

Living in a 5th wheel all summer, the
kids kinda got bored, (can't understand

why though?) One day, one of the
projects happened to be digging a tunnel

through the whole mound. I'm SO glad I
wasn't there for this one.
Thanks so much Bryan
for letting our kids have fun.
THEY
COULD HAVE DIED!
I guess that's why dad's are
cooler than mom's.
They did have a good time.
I was away on a photo job, and got
this picture text
right in the middle.
To say that I freaked out is an understatement.

So I've been offline. I need to spend a day updating and uploading photos of our summer. But until then, here's a couple recent things....
I was goofing around with the kids one day in the park, ended up with this.
I love it.

I took this Sunday night with my phone. It was my last picture of my baby actually being my baby. Monday morning, she left for the big world of Kindergarten.
TALK ABOUT SAD!

This was tonight, again with a cell phone, in a dark parking lot,
mmmwhoohaa.
Actually, it was our family anniversary today. This is the day that Bryan and I
went on our first date, 9 years ago,
WITH ALL OF OUR KIDS.
So we celebrate every year, by going out and getting ice cream.
The photo documented the occasion.

So there's a little taste of us. Just barely a nibble.
I will blog more tomorrow!!
YEEHAW!

I'M ON THE NET AGAIN!!!!!!!!!

Quick update

So here we are at Pageant.
This is a minimal update - as anyone who really
knows me would notice - I take SO many photos
of Pageant, it's impossible to put
them all up here.
But these are a couple of my favs so far......

~Maranda against the sunset~

~My Favorite Red-head~

~Taylor, Conner & Kaden, (the 3 Josephs) BEFORE haircuts...

...and AFTER!~

~Brinlee with 3rd Nephi, (although we like OUR 3rd Nephi better!)~

~Uh... Stock is the "Henshaw Child" again....~

~This is a cool shot I did, I caught
Taylor as Joseph, Maranda as Emma
and the Temple, all in one. I love how
it looks like 3 different photos though!~

~My Taylor as Joseph~

~Behind the scene of Randa as Emma~

~Nothin like having your kids go bug one of the Apostles, right?~

~It was actually very cool to meet Elder L. Tom Perry.
Nice perk for doing pageant, right?~

~Imagine hanging out here every night for 3 weeks. Doesn't get
much better. I love it here!~

It's pageant time again for us

I HAVEN'T BLOGGED IN FOREVER!! We packed up our rental, moved out, and traveled down to Ephraim Utah to live for a month - and in the process, I've neglected my blog. This month gets really busy though with all the practices and performances, so I'm not sure how dedicated I will be......

We love this time of year. This year is no different. Even though we've traveled 8 hours, we're living in a "camper" for a month, and I'm away from my sweetheart, it's worth every struggle to be here. This week has been practice in the church.

These are just a few shots (of the many, of course!) of us,
our friends, and many others that we love from our wonderful
Mormon Miracle Pageant.

All the kids love to show off for my camera.... especially our friends
that we see on a yearly basis.
Nice one Daniel!!
Gotta love my Ellen. *cheese*
(one of the directors)

Stockton as the "Henshaw child" ...... again.

The "CIA" scene. Sheesh there's a lot of people this year!
Actually the largest cast they've ever had!

Um.... need I say more? Director Judy, gotta love her too.

YEAAHHHHH KELLY! Such a stud.. He wants to
dedicate this to his awesome hot wife, Mimi!
(yes, he actually said that!)

My sweet kids, and their friends. (sigh)

Director "Swens" telling our friend Devin what to do, where to go......

Ok, so we come all the way from Wyoming, and Taylor ends up being best friends with our landlord's nephew?!! FREAKY! Taylor is portraying Joseph Smith this year, and Derrin is his Angel Moroni. Big turds. They cause the directors to laugh quite a bit.

Sexy little Randa in her dance.

We love Laren (Swens)
As the director, he has to put up with a LOT. But he does it with such class.
LAREN ROCKS!!

Ahh.... Dakotah. No words to express......
love ya!

Marla, and BRINLEE in Angel practice.

Devon, another friend, is Samuel this year. Yeahhh!
He get's to stand on the wall of the temple! How cool is that?!

Ok, I got busted. This is our friend Marla, (who came down
from Wyoming with us)
she was using my other camera.....
Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to give it to her???!!!

Ha ha! but I get the last word Marla!! SWEET THREADS!!!
She makes one HOT Nephite!

So....
On with the pageant! Good times ahead!

Stalker Update

Friends, and loved ones, I have noticed that my "stalker" has not been on my blog for a couple of days. Maybe the problem is solved?

And Kate, my love, you were the FIRST one invited! YOU can stalk me ANY TIME YOU WANT! Love you Katie Boo! I'll see you in a few days!!!!

This one's for you Steve......

The other night, we were at the middle school for a huge project they do every year. Taylor was a desert chef (photos of that event to come later!!) While there, we noticed among the decor, this car. Warmed our hearts thinking of a special someone we used to live by......
Here's to you Steve!! We think about you all the time! It will be so good to BBQ and "Chill" with you, even if it's just for a short while!!

On a Soapbox/ My little Gripe

Blogs are cool things. There are so many uses for them. Educational themes, political views, advertising, building family ties.... For the most part, I try to use my blog for the purpose of keeping in touch with those we've moved away from, and staying close with those we love. It's been a good tool. I have also kept our blog public. This can be risky. Occasionally, one can get the curious "blog stalker". So many times I have joked with friends about "stalking" each other. It's fun to check in on each other. That's the point of the blog, right?! Just for my curiosity, I have a blog tracker to see who commonly visits my blog. Well, we have noticed we have a fairly frequent "stalker" that isn't so secret. Several times I have complained to Bryan how this drives me CRAZY! It totally blows me away that this PERSON would consistently 'check in' on what my family is doing. I mean, for crying out loud, I CAN SEE WHO VISITS MY BLOG EVERY DAY!!! Bryan has suggested publicly naming and chastising on the blog - hoping that they would get the idea, and just go away! I've tried ignoring the situation, hoping that someone would just grow up, and leave us alone. But, hoping hasn't worked. It's such a hard call. I want my blog to be public, it serves as a venue for me to advertise my photography, plus it's easier for other friends to find the blog if it's public. But there's just SOME people that you wish would back off!!!

So..... to the 'SOMEONE' who consistently checks up on us, and you KNOW who you are! There's NO QUESTION of it.... take this as a hint. A very Subtle hint, that I think it's RUDE, INTRUSIVE, AND VERY SNEAKY, (and a bit CREEPY) for you to check up on what we're doing. Just BUTT out!

That being said..... to my other loved ones, friends, and possible "followers", I'm so sorry! I have never used my blog to vent or make a stand on an issue that I've felt strongly about. And it may seem silly to some, maybe even most, but it's a personal issue to our family. Specifically me. And to those who know us best, I know you COMPLETELY understand who and what this is about.

GGRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrr.......

Ok. I'm done.

I guess if this doesn't work, I can start getting a little more bold with my hints and narrowing down OUR FREAKY STALKER!!!
ok.
Now I'm really done.

Brin at soccer

So, Brinlee knows that I take her pictures while she's, (well), while she does anything and everything. The first soccer game she played this year, I got a great shot of her mid-kick, and both feet were off the ground. We told her we "caught" her flying. So, this afternoon, before we left to her game, she said, "Take a picture of me flying again tonight!" And then at the game, proceeded to make sure she was 'flying' every chance she got - just to make sure I'd have the opportunity.

Wouldn't it be wonderful to be 4 again and just know that you are really flying!!

Playing "Pooh Sticks" on the Bridge in Thermop

anyone else know what "pooh sticks" are?
;)
hint: you'd have to be in the Hundred Acre Wood to really play.

AHHHH!!!!!!!

I'm so dang excited!! I've been following a site called "Digital Photography School" online to try to up my skills with my camera. Every two weeks they put out assignments for people to submit. I've never submitted (because I'm a pansy and I'm scared to!) Well, the latest assignment was "JUMP".... and I just happen to have the most perfect shot! There are several rules to each assignment, such as time frames, and such, blah blah..... but this happened to fall into all the rules, so I got brave, and submitted. Short story made long....

Check it out HERE to see what happened!

(side note, this is a world wide site - thus, world wide entries, LOTS of them!!)
